Upon approval from our Membership Director, you may complete this registration form and submit your yearly membership fee ($100 per family).
Once received, you become an active member of EE with full access to our calendar, forum, Facebook page, and events. If there is room in classes, you may register for classes at this time.

2. Are you an ESA family?

Please NOTE: Eastside Explorers is NOT a vendor contracted with ESA and does NOT accept payments from ESA/Class Wallet. Payments made to our 501(c)3 nonprofit for membership, etc. do not qualify. Eastside Explorers does not provide receipts for you to submit to the Department of Education. It is the sole responsibility of each family to submit all the necessary documents to the DoE.

You may view your accounting information and download any payments by logging in to your EE account, clicking on "Balance" on the upper-right, orange toolbar, and then clicking on payments made. You can then download any receipts, etc.

If you take classes on Mondays, most teachers accept ESA payments. You must check with your teacher to see if he/she is a registered Class Wallet vendor. You can find this info. on the class description under "Class Fees." If your teacher is an approved ESA vendor, he/she will be registered on Class Wallet under their own name, not Eastside Explorers, since they are independent contractors. It is the sole responsibility of each ESA family to refer to their ESA Parent Handbook to determine any coverage eligibility.If you have specific ESA questions, please contact a Class Wallet representative at the Dept. of Ed. directly.

VOLUNTEER HOURS

Eastside Explorers is a completely volunteer-led homeschool group. At least one parent from each family must commit to serving in Eastside on a short-term, volunteer basis by planning/assisting in an area of your choice. Contributions by our members are not only minimal, but they are a necessity in making Eastside successful.

We only ask our members to commit to fulfilling once per year. However, we always LOVE having more help!

Please select your top two areas, and you will be assigned to one of them. Check your email for communication from your EE team leader, and be sure to reply promptly. Thank you!

FIELD TRIPS - Plan a field trip this year

PARTIES - Help plan and execute either the Christmas or Valentine's Day party

EVENTS - Help plan and execute at one of EE's main events (Kick-off, Friendsgiving, Wax Museum, Geography Fair, etc.)

GIRLS' GROUP (all ages) - Plan one event for this group

BOYS' GROUP (all ages) - Plan one event for this group

TWEEN GROUP (ages 10-13, co-ed) - Plan one event for this group

TEEN GROUP (ages 13+, co-ed) - Plan one event for this group

PARENTS' GROUP - Plan one event for this group

CLASS DAY WEEKLY CLEAN UP - Each week at pickup, you'll have a clean-up job that will take approx. 10-20 minutes.
