This field trip will cover Being a Smart Shopper while thinking about health and wellness practices in the aisles of the store.  Practical life-skill and nutrition lessons are taught in the very place where food choices are made.  Just a few of the subjects covered are:

 

*how to select healthy foods and beverages

*read nutrition labels

*examining roles of producers and consumers
